Well, that happened fast, Ake goes to Man Shitty and now Manchester United is being linked with Gabriel Magalhães. Woodward has been caught with his pants down to start a transfer windown once again.
To be honest I have never heard of the kid so I did some googling. Gabriel is a 22 year old Brazilian international who joined Ligue 1 side Lille OSC in January 2017. Critcally he is left footed, exactly what Ole has been quoted as saying Manchester United need at the moment.
Looking at transfermarkt.com his value is ~£15M so the £27M that is being quoted in the rags appears to be a solid premium.
Watching his highlights, the kids a baller. He is phsyical big and decisive at the back. It would be a huge win signing him for under £30M as we need some healthy competition for our Center-Backs.

It’s refreshing to see other cb options for us going forward! Was wondering what your thoughts are on pau Torres? From what I’ve seen, he’s confident on the ball and is aggressive when he needs to be and has good fluidity and height. I don’t want to pump him up too much but I think he’d be a good fit next to slab head!
