MONDAY MUPPETRY MADNESS! Sancho Deal “Advanced”; Gabriel Bid “Submitted”; Sanchez Fee “Agreed”!

Wow, it looks like we might have a transfer window on our hands.

It actually looks like Manchester United might try and get their transfer business done early this year; let’s start with the biggest name on the list:

Jadon Sancho Deal “Advanced”

According to the highly reliable Fabrizio Romano a deal for Jadon Sancho is getting closer:

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, with BBC, Sky Sports and many more now reporting that the deal is increasingly likely. Manchester United will likely need to break the British transfer record, with a £108 amount being rumored.

Jadon Sancho at this price would be a terrific piece of business and could in theory grace Manchester United’s right wing for the next decade. Take a look at Sancho’s goals and assists this year in the Bundesliga:

All we need now is “HERE WE GO” and him holding up the number 7 kit!

Gabriel Magalhaes Bid “Submitted”

Everyone knows Ole rates Sancho and has had him as his number one target for quite a while. However, what has solidified over the past week is that beyond Sancho, priority number 2 is a young, pacey center back.

Shot, chaser. Enter the fray Gabriel Magalhaes, the 23-year old Brazilian unit that currently plays for Lille. Napoli looked to be in pole position, but United have now moved ahead with an increased offer. More below:

And now journalist Emanuele Cammaroto has told Napoli Magazine (via Sport Witness) that Napoli have made an offer of €22m but that United’s bid was bigger at €27m plus €2m in add-ons.

Cammaroto reckons that Man Utd will get agreements ‘in the next few days’ from Lille and Magalhaes ahead of the potential move.

Check out the lad below:

Alexis Sanchez “Close to Agreement”

More good news coming from Fabrizio Romano. It looks like Alexis Sanchez’s upturn in form since the Serie A restart might finally get him off our books.

Breaking news:

Massive news if true. If United can get his massive wages off their books as early as this week, it would be an important piece of business to get done to start the window.

Watch this space fellow muppets, it looks like it’ll be a busy summer!

About Alex 63 Articles
My name is Alex and I am a co-host of the American Red Devils podcast, and discovered the greatest football club in the world freshman year in highschool, after playing FIFA '99 on Nintendo 64. Originally it was the red hair of Paul Scholes that caught my attention, given the four Gingers in my family, but I never knew a redhead could ball like Scholesy. However, what really sucked me in was the arrival of Wayne Rooney at the club, to this day my all-time favorite player. I was lucky enough to witness my first game at Old Trafford in '07 while studying abroad, witnessing the 4-0 thrashing of Wigan. I rented a car and drove down for the day from Edinburgh to Manchester and back (NYC to Boston twice), driving on the wrong side of the car and the road! Lucky enough to be in Sunderland to see Zlatan's last United goal and in London to see Matic's stoppage time screamer at Selhurst. Honored and privileged to be a Manchester United fan.
